NOTES of a NOMAD #310 -Scouting -24-January 2026

In 1953, I joined the Boy Scouts in Thunder Bay, Northern Ontario, Canada.

The Scouting movement was founded by Lord Baden-Powell in England in 1908.

This organization had a profound impact on me, and I made many friends, some of whom I still know more than 60 years later.

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the local Scouting museum, which brought back many memories.
