NOTES of a NOMAD #62 -Front End Processors -14 April 2021

In 1985 I left South Africa and returned to Canada after being away for 23 years.

In Toronto, I found work as a salesperson for NCR Comten. We sold front-end processors to IBM mainframe users. These devices interface peripheral units like terminals, printers, disk and tape units to the mainframe computer.
