Hi and welcome to Notes of a Nomad,
Thank you to Craig for asking about the lingua France, “Fanagalo” which was used in the mining industry in the 1960s and ’70s when I worked on the gold mines in South Africa.
Everyone working on the mines had to learn Fanagalo. This was so that with so many people speaking different languages could communicate with each other.
I read the story of Cock Robin in Fanagalo.
I am still on the boat for a while at least.
I have done 615 km on the rowing machine in the last 30 days from 15 March to 15 April for the Virtual Team Challenge. This is to support my virtual team, the Ancient Mariners.
I am still participating in multiple online Zoom meetings with many groups.
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please reach out to me.
Wishing you, your families, and friends, lots of love and laughter.
Fred
