Hi and welcome to Notes of a Nomad,
The COVID-19 has changed everything as there are no more face-to-face meetings. Everyone is to stay at home.
It was suggested by a friend that I should share some of my experiences of working on the gold mines in South Africa.
I start with a few pictures from the gold mines in 1964 and talk about some of what it was like working underground.
I then talk about the changes, what is happening currently in Canada and what my current thoughts and plans are about the impact of COVID-19.
I am pleased to be in Canada as we have public health care, the national radio system, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. In addition, Canadians will likely comply with the requested changes.
I likely will move to my friend’s boat when Rupert’s owner arrives back from England.
Wishing you, your family and friends, lots of love and laughter.
Fred
